So here we go, it’s 2 am and I’ve been putting off starting a blog for a while now but thought what better time than when you’re hungover and awake at 2 am?

To give you guys a little introduction to myself, I’m an Iranian American who was California born and raised. To put that into simpler terms I say hella every other sentence and that number increases the more drunk I get.. and as for the Iranian side of me it’s a good party trick to tell people that you can speak a second language!

I’m engaged to my boyfriend of 8 months and fiancé of 3, which I’ll spill all the tea about that in another post. We share a son together he’s very furry, likes to be fed at least twice a day, and only pee’s outside. Yup you guessed it! He’s a dog. Our good ol’ Bleu the blue heeler. And no he’s not named bleu because he’s a blue heeler that would just be so predictable, he’s named bleu because he looks like bleu cheese!

Some of the activities I partake in when not working or going to school are cooking and camping! My fiancé and I love to get outdoors and recently spent way to much money on getting our camping gear all set up for this coming summer. I also enjoy good food (don’t we all) but not at the cost of my health… okay maybe sometimes I use butter.. and sugar… but for the most part I love cooking food that tastes good and falls on the healthier spectrum of at home cooking.
